‘Twilight Saga’ stud Kellan Lutz is ready to star as Tarzan in a new motion-capture film. Lutz has signed up to play the title character in a new 3-D production, Deadline reports. ‘Tarzan 3D’, which has a script put together by Reinhard, Jessica Postigo and Ice Age: Dawn Of The Dinosaurs’ Yoni Brenner, is described as a fully animated CGI with motion capture. The movie will be inspired from the classic Edgar Rice Burroughs story about the jungle hero, whose parents will be billionaire adventurers who are killed in an airplane crash in the new ‘Tarzan’ flick rather than being marooned with their child.

The Los Angeles Film Festival declared today that in fact Steven Soderbergh’s male-stripper drama ‘Magic Mike’ — starring Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Matt Bomer, and a bunch of other hot studs — will have its world premiere as the festival’s closing-night selection. While the film’s official launch date is June 29, it really is set to be screened on the last night of the LA Film Festival, on June 24 in downtown L.A.
